Suzanne Cheek of Duncan Commercial Real Estate successfully closed the sale of a 4.75-acre property on Mud Lane, located off Preston Highway and adjacent to Kroger. Representing the seller, Robbins Enterprises, Cheek facilitated the transaction, which was valued at $1,350,000.
The buyer, Kueber Fitness, plans to develop the site into a Planet Fitness. DeShon Batts, Vice President of Development for Glow Brands, represented Kueber Fitness in the purchase. The transaction required overcoming several challenges, including navigating retail deed restrictions and coordinating agreements among multiple property owners. Despite these complexities, all parties reached a satisfactory agreement.
Suzanne Cheek's deep knowledge of the market and the trade area played a crucial role in the success of this transaction. Over her career, she has represented both buyers and sellers in more than 26 land transactions within this trade area, encompassing over 95 acres and totaling more than $20 million in land sales.
